HK New World disembarked Shenzhen with the one million for charity and love

HK New World Group (“the Group” for short) held the press conference for “HK New World Disembarks Shenzhen and UNICEF One Million Charity” in Shenzhen Shangri-la Hotel on September 13. 

The press conference turns out to be a symbol for the Group disembarking Shenzhen. The Group has drawn the grand blueprint for marching toward the real estate industry in Shenzhen and made introduction to the New World Yishan Garden, which is to be unveiled at the end of this year. These serial measures are all attributed to the solid strength and world vision of the Group. New World Development Limited got listed in 1972 and now becomes a large-sized international comprehensive enterprise, with four core businesses including real estate, infrastructure, service and telecommunications, all of which are outstanding within relevant industries. 

Now the Group has had four affiliated companies get listed. In which, New World China Land Limited, the flagship of the Group responsible for the property development in Mainland China, has the projects in 18 cities in Mainland China with the total assets over 26 billion HK dollars. Besides, it has 38 real estate projects, and 14 completed investment property projects, with land reserve reaching 19 million m2. In addition, the Group has presently possessed 14 hotels in China and Southeast Asia, totaling 7300 suites. 

New World Infrastructure held over 30 investment projects in telecommunications, media and science and technology, with its businesses including wireless communication, broadband, multimedia, scientific and technical company and service, and covering major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Fujian, Wuhan, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. 

NWS Holdings Limited, the Group’s flagship in the service industry, has two core businesses, namely infrastructural construction and port business, spread over China, with about 60 projects under operation, including the 1,120km road, four bridge projects, and 2,015 MW generating capacity, daily drinking water handling capacity of 3.18 million m3, and 11 port projects. Another core service industry includes equipment management, architecture electromechanical, transportation, finance & insurance, and environmental engineering. 

New World Telecommunications Limited, the flagship of the Group in the fixed network phone service, possesses over one million clients registered in long-distance phone service. New World Mobility holds over 920,000 users. 

At the Conference, New World China Land disclosed the information concerning the New World Yishan Garden to be unveiled in Shenzhen. The Yishan Garden covers an area of 89,349 m2 in total, consisting of the three-phase large-sized communalities. In which, there are 23 villas in Phase I, 10 buildings totaling 336 suites in Phase II, with major household layouts of two-room and two-hall, three-room and two-hall, and complex unit. The project, abutting on Wutong Mountain National Forest Park, creates green gardening life in a true sense; moreover, it possesses the natural forest oxygen bar at ease, backing mountains and facing the sea, and enjoys unique resource advantages in the so-called “Blue Yantian” region. In the Autumn Trade Fair this month, New World • Yishan Garden will take formal presence in Shenzhen and VIP cards for New World Yishan Garden will be released. It is reported that the card integrates advantageous resources of New World Group, not only offering preferences for house purchasers, but also enjoying a series of high-quality services brought by New World Group, which is extremely worth of expectation. 

Another important topic of the Conference is the “Walk New World for Children” cross-border charity fund-raising activity held by the UNICEF. Mrs. Maggie Koong, Vice-Chairman of the UNICEF HK Office, was invited to deliver the “Charity General Mobilization” to the activity co-hosted by New World Group with the UNICEF to be held on September 28, and the atmosphere was very heated. It was said that the charity activity to be held on September 28 was quite worth waiting for and over one thousand HK citizens walked from the Headquarters of New World to Wutong Mountain by crossing Shenzhen and HK at that time. Then, not only celebrities from every field of HK would be invited, but more importantly, Miss Kelly Chen and Mr. Daniel Chan, well-known movie stars and ambassadors of the UNICEF HK Office, would present, so a grand scene is being expected. The Activity would integrate the public benefit and entertainment, exert positive significance on charity communication between Shenzhen and HK, and demonstrate the image of New World Group and New World China Land as excellent corporate citizen participating in social public benefits as well.
