(21 February 2008, Guangzhou) In response to the overwhelming snowstorm hitting many southern provinces during the Chinese New Year, New World China Land Guangzhou Office has initiated the “Love Under the Roof” fundraising campaign and “Guangzhou is My Home” program to help out and has successfully lured over 2,000 construction workers to remain in Guangzhou during the New Year holiday.  A total of over RMB300,000 worth of clothing, food and other daily necessities have been sent to the police and military police who have been working at the front line of snowstorm combat. 

New World China Land Volunteer Alliance were also taking up the difficult task of sharing some of the front line work in and around the Guangzhou Railway Station.  These include maintaining order in the station, giving direction to the stranded crowd and giving out food and clothing.
