(28 October 2013, Hong Kong) New World China Land Limited ("NWCL", HK Stock Code: 917) held its second major “Midnight Human Library” event in Shenzhen, China on 26 October 2013 after the successful debut event in August. [About Living Books]
“The Human Library” originates in a large-scale music event held by a youth organisation "Stop The Violence", and gradually spreads around the world. The Island library and Le Chuang Yi Community have been actively promoting "The Human Library" activities in China, and has successfully held more than 10 similar activities. During the 30-40 minutes when the living books are read, the readers are both the listeners and the ones who share. Here, everyone has the opportunity to tell their own stories. Every reader has the opportunity to read 3-4 living books on site, with a platform for equal communications between readers and living books.
