(29 May 2012 – Hong Kong) New World China Land Limited (“NWCL” or “the Company”, Hong Kong Stock Code: 917) is committed to promoting corporate images to the public. Its documentary Discover Happiness is honored with Best Campaign in the 22nd Astrid Grand Awards. NWCL is the only Hong Kong developer receiving such accolade in this year’s competition. 

Organized by the MerComm, Inc and as a continuation of the Astrid Awards, the Astrid Grand Awards is designated to recognize the outstanding Astrid Awards gold awardees of the year. In the past decade, Best Campaign awards were granted to overseas companies and local educational institutions. NWCL is pleased that Discover Happiness stands out from the rest of the communication industry, recognizing its excellent performance in this area. 

The documentary Discover Happiness is the first life movie jointly initiated by NWCL and Huayi Brothers, and elaborately produced by Director Du Haibin and his studio. It consists of eight happy stories of ordinary families from eight cities of NWCL, with an aim to set up a platform for participating families to perform the happy family life and convey happiness to the society, at the same time showcase the harmonious communities created by NWCL in Mainland China in recent years. The grand premiere of Discover Happiness was held on 17 December 2011 in Guangzhou Opera House. The documentary has been uploaded to nationwide video websites to extensively advocate the public to value their own happy life.
