(29 September 2014, ——Guiyang) New World Guiyang Hotel of New World China Land Limited (“New World China Land”; Stock Code: 917.HK) which is located in Jinyang Sunny Town, Guiyang, opened the doors on 25 September 2014. This hotel becomes the first one located in Southwest China owned by New World Hotels and Resorts. 

On the opening day, the “Rising of Southwest China Center - Development of Guiyang Core Metropolis Forum” organized by New World China Land (Guiyang) was successfully held in New World Guiyang Hotel. Guiyang Urban Planning and Design Institute, the U.S. HOK, the P&T Group and dozens of media presented at the forum and opened up the discussion over the development of Guiyang. 

New World Guiyang Hotel is located in Guanshanhu District city centre, and it is close to the City Government Administrative Offices and Guiyang International Exhibition and Convention Centre. The Hotel boasts 306 guestrooms, including 281 luxury rooms and 25 suites. Both the interiors of the rooms and public space are full of elegant oriental flairs. The catering facilities include Wei Kitchen, an all-day dining, Tian Chinese restaurant and Yi Lounge-Bar. The hotel offers event space totaling 2,000 sq m, including a grand ballroom and multi-functional galleries. The executive floor, as well as the health club and spa will open in 2015. 

Covering an area of 3,300 mu and building area of 3,800,000 mu, Guiyang Jinyang Sunny Town, with an investment over RMB 10 billion, is divided into five-stage development and planned to house 70,000 people. The 6.2km ecological green way connects the commercial zone, community centres and parks. The comprehensive educational and commercial supporting facilities are about to launch gradually.
