(20 December, 2012, Shenyang) The volunteer organization of the New World China Land (“NWCL” or “the Group”; HK Stock Code: 917) – “NWCL Volunteer Team” 2012 excellent volunteers honor ceremony was held in the Phase I chamber of the Shenyang New World Garden. Mr. Liu Songcan, director of NWCL Shenyang and Anshan region, Mr. Lin Zhizhong, senior manager of the Corporate Communications Department, and members of NWCL volunteer teams nationwide jointly witnessed the moment. 

After the assessment and comparison of the service time, service quality and participation enthusiasm of all members of NWCL volunteer teams for the public benefit program in the whole year, a total of 10 volunteers from Shenyang, Beijing, Jinan, Shanghai, Chengdu and Guangzhou won the honorary title of “2012 Excellent Volunteer”, got the honor certificate and awards issued by the enterprise in the honor ceremony, with the reward as an encouragement for their practicing enterprise social responsibility and conveying public care.        

After the honor ceremony, all volunteers and teachers & students of the Yuzhi School of Huanggu District of Shenyang conducted the “Greet New Year with Love” event, distributing gifts of love to the children for the Christmas and New Year, and the interactive games organized on site made children spend a happy afternoon. Yuzhi School of Huanggu District of Shenyang assuming a special education task is also a cooperative agency of NWCL Shenyang volunteer team, having developed public service for a long term. 

NWCL volunteer team was established in 2007, with the slogan of “contributing to public interest with concrete actions” as its core service idea. Currently, the number of the volunteers has exceeded 800, including the enterprise staffs from NWCL in 9 cities of the whole country. NWCL volunteer team has organized over 70 public benefit activities in 2012, with total service hours exceeding 3,660 hours. The service contents are mostly caring weak children, supporting disabled persons, supporting social activity and protecting environment, etc.
