New World China Land Holds Regional Annual Parties to Honour the Outstanding Employees and Promote “Green-feast”

(29 January 2014, Hong Kong) New World China Land Limited (“New World China Land”; Hong Kong Stock Code: 917) regards employees as its most valuable asset. On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2014, NWCL held regional annual parties in Shenyang, Anshan, Dalian, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Shunde, Central and Southern China regions, etc. The management seized the good chances to honour the outstanding employees and promote “green-feast”. 

The annual party is an important moment to reward outstanding employees and teams of the year. In the annual party of Southern China region, which was themed with “New World.New Life”, NWCL especially honoured the senior employees who have served NWCL for more than ten years and extended gratitude for their contributions. 

The theme of the Beijing annual party was “United.New World” and it put emphasis on community engagement. A medical equipment donation to a long-term partner, Beijing Yanjingxiaotiane Community School, was held at the party and the students were also invited to participate in a singing performance with the representatives of New Wolrd Volunteer Team. 

The annual party of Shanghai was themed with “Impression.Shanghai”. Unique performances such as Shanghai opera and jazz dance were put on show, while the old Shanghai alley games and the mesmerising “Old Shanghai Street” brought back the old Shanghai flairs. 

Elements of sustainable development were infused into the annual parties of NWCL in various innovative ways. The party props used in the Shenyang annual party will be reused as gifts for the volunteer activities; In order to save paper, the song list was presented on IPAD; It also promoted “green-feast”, which is say “no” to shark fin soup and food waste. NWCL’s corporate office in Hong Kong had also donated 20 pounds of surplus food to “Food Angel” and contributed to the underprivileged after its Christmas Party held earlier on.
