(27 October, Hong Kong) New World China Land Limited (“NWCL”, Stock Code: 917.HK) has been awarded “The Most Respected Company in China 2013-2014” by Economic Observer. A total of 30 well-known companies in China and overseas standing out from 285 nominated companies have been granted this honour.
The judging panel acclaims NWCL for its focus on the balance among economy, society and environment. The Group has been engaged in urban transformation and construction for a long term and made effective efforts in driving green buildings. Sustainable development has become an essential part of the Group’s corporate culture and management.
NWCL actively builds environmental friendly and high quality properties. Currently, nine projects of the Group have attained LEED Gold Certification or Pre-Certification issued by the US Green Building Council. As the first award which focuses on corporate values, “The Most Respected Company in China” Awards has been held for the 11th consecutive years since 2011.
